This is an onsite role at our Mt. Pleasant, WI location. This role will lead and perform research, development, design and application of cost effective electrical and mechanical components and products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes targeted to support the marketplace, improve quality, and reduce manufacturing cost. No Visa Sponsorship is available Relocation is available for eligible candidates ## Your responsibilities will include
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product planning, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and external suppliers to create and implement innovative products and processes.
  • With the guidance of senior engineering staff, conduct engineering evaluations and gather information to aid in making trade-off choices impacting performance, cost, complexity, and schedule. Provide data driven recommendations to the team and work to build consensus.
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate assigned projects. Balance workload and priorities of varying complexity.
  • Request and oversee internal lab testing where needed to support projects. Utilize test results and data analysis to support recommendations.
  • Provide clear engineering information to Project Leaders and Engineering Management.
  • Provide support for engineering changes and new part releases.
  • Coordinates outside research and/or engineering activities, recommends technology vendors, and communicates practical application of research
  • Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision ## Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 1+ years of Engineering experience
  • 1+ years of 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) experience ## Preferred skills and experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher and 3+ years of engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of plastics, metal stamping, die casting, motors and rapid prototyping
