Job Description

Product Manager, Consultant Job Summary The Product Manager, Consultant supports digital sales by improving online shopping experiences for health insurance. This role operates at the intersection of digital marketing, analytics, and product strategy to help consumers understand, select, and enroll in health plans more easily. Responsibilities Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for multiple user types. Support fellow product managers during peak periods such as Open Enrollment and other critical delivery timelines. Participate in and engage with agile ceremonies and facilitate those required to support product outcomes. Use product management tools to create, manage, and prioritize the agile team backlog. Create and deliver clear, compelling presentations tailored to different audiences. Collaborate and align with vendor partners to achieve product outcomes. Communicate product strategy clearly through written and verbal channels. Define, analyze, and monitor product-level KPIs to assess experience performance and identify improvement opportunities. Partner with UX to inform research, testing, and design decisions for intuitive, high-quality consumer experiences. Lead a data-driven approach to shaping consumer shopping experiences that drive acquisition and retention. Use web analytics tools to inform product decisions and demonstrate measurable outcomes of product releases. Conduct detailed data analysis and ensure proper user tracking implementation across web properties. Report findings through clear, compelling data visualizations. Requirements Experience in digital product management, preferably in consumer-facing or ecommerce environments. Strong foundation in web and data analytics with the ability to interpret and apply insights. Proven ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience working within agile product development teams. Demonstrated ability to define and monitor KPIs and use them to guide product decisions. Experience collaborating with UX, engineering, and external partners or vendors. Strong communication skills, including creating and delivering presentations to diverse stakeholders. Experience using web analytics tools and implementing user tracking solutions. Ability to translate complex data into clear visualizations and actionable recommendations. Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience. Skills Digital product management and roadmap execution. Web and data analytics, including KPI definition and tracking. User story writing and backlog management in agile environments. Data visualization and storytelling with data. Cross-functional collaboration with UX, engineering, and vendor partners. Strategic thinking with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences. Summary Qualification Proven experience as a product manager or product consultant in digital or ecommerce contexts. Demonstrated success using analytics to drive product strategy and measurable outcomes. Hands-on experience working in agile frameworks and managing product backlogs. Track record of collaborating with UX teams to deliver intuitive digital experiences. Ability to synthesize user behavior and market trends into actionable product recommendations.
