About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support our Apparel merchandising team. As a Product Merchandising, Apparel Intern , you will gain hands-on experience in product merchandising, seasonal development, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a great opportunity to explore a career in merchandising while contributing to Ariat's apparel business.

What You'll Gain Seasonal Product Support:

Assist in organizing seasonal product line plans and sample tracking. Help prepare presentation materials for internal line reviews and sales meetings. Support the merchandising team in updating product data and documentation. Participate in seasonal market research and trend analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Observed partnership with design, development, and marketing teams to help move seasonal product briefs forward. Help coordinate feedback from internal stakeholders and summarize findings. Attend and assist in cross-functional meetings to gain exposure to the full product creation process.

Administrative & Organizational Support:

Maintain product grids, and merchandising documents. Assist in organizing samples and merchandising boards. Support with competitive research and inspiration shopping.

What You'll Learn:

How a seasonal apparel line is developed from concept to production. The role of merchandising in consumer insight, product storytelling, and go-to-market planning. Cross-functional communication and project tracking within an apparel brand. Real-world tools used in merchandising (e.g., Excel, PLM systems, presentation decks). About You Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or recently graduated Effective written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams. Self-starter with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take initiative. Ability to analyze trends and interpret market research to support product planning. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. About Ariat Ariat is an innovative, outdoor global brand with roots in equestrian performance. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
