The Production 1 position will be responsible for helping our team with their daily production needs. This position offers many opportunities to learn all aspects of ice cream production processes with room for advancement. This position keeps the Gifford's product at a high standard of quality every day; operating equipment on the ice cream line; palletizing product, minimizing product damages, and maintain a neat and clean work area by adhering to Food Safety Standards.

Monday thru Friday•off season Sunday thru Saturday•busy season (typically scheduled 3-4 days/wk)

Responsibilities:

Perform tasks related to manufacturing of Ice Cream Maintain counts and monitor usage of ingredients and packaging materials Equipment setup and flavor changeovers Participate in cross-training efforts to maximize departmental efficiency Gather stock and containers to prep for production for the day and as needed Maintain a clean work environment The ideal candidate will: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Attention to detail, quality, and cleanliness Self motivated Dependable Able to work in a fast-past, team environment '
