Production Associate

Job Title:

Production Associate Job Description This role involves setting up and operating hydraulic and mechanical presses to manufacture abrasive components according to specifications. You will load raw materials, monitor production cycles, and ensure that finished products meet quality and safety standards. The position requires hands-on machine operation, basic troubleshooting, and close collaboration with team members to achieve production goals in an industrial manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate hydraulic and mechanical presses to manufacture abrasive components according to production specifications. Load raw materials into press equipment and monitor production cycles to ensure consistent output. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects, ensuring compliance with internal standards. Adjust machine settings such as pressure, temperature, and cycle times to optimize production performance. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on press equipment to maintain proper functionality and minimize downtime. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or production issues and escalate complex problems as needed. Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality checks. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA regulations while performing daily tasks. Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality personnel, and other team members to meet production and quality goals. Support general production activities such as assembly, packaging, and inspection as needed. Use hand tools and related equipment safely and effectively during production and maintenance tasks. Assist with material handling, including operating a forklift if trained and authorized. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
