Sanding Full Job Description Production Associate Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform a wide variety of assembly-type functions using common and specialized hand and/or power tools. Inspect and test. Operate overhead crane and/or power hoist to move component assemblies. Operate pneumatic, sanders and other equipment needed to de-burr components and parts. Use calipers, micrometers and standard measuring instruments or devices to measure work to close tolerances. Routine operators preventative maintenance as required.

Qualifications:

Ability to collaborate with team members and apply understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

Physical and visual activities:

Standing for prolonged periods of time on a concrete surface. Lifting; over 50 lbs, pulling, carrying, reaching, hearing, and visual acuity. Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
