Production Associate

The Production Line/Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of production line jobs and warehouse functions in safe and efficient manner, in a clean indoor food production facility. The production line associate is responsible for supporting, planning, organizing and controlling production with a goal of increasing efficiency, quality and productivity. This is a light to medium labor job.

Responsibilities:

Arrive to work on time and work during scheduled hours, working additional overtime as needed Maintain good personal hygiene. Wear designated uniform maintained in good condition

• Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required Perform all work activities in a safe manner.

Maintain a safe and clutter free work area Clean up all spills immediately Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery Place production orders from customers Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions Follow all procedures, adhering to all safety policies and procedures Handle Shipping and Receiving as needed

• Assist with inventory process as requested Work cooperatively and efficiently with coworkers in all departments with little supervision to achieve team, department and company goals Complete production assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with departmental schedules. Position may require working alternate hours or weekends to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Examine products to verify quality and consistency.
• Perform quick and efficient changeovers to limit downtime.
• Clean equipment following completion of production cycle.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch, bend, kneel, lift, carry and reach as needed.

Qualifications:

You'll have a High School diploma or equivalent. You'll enjoy learning while being flexible and adaptable in a changing environment You'll enjoy working with others and making a positive impact

• Must possess common sense, positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendance
• Must be quality and safety conscious, a team player
• Must be able to work quickly with product and able to lift 50 pounds
• Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to concentrate for sustained periods
• Must have good communication skills and be able to interact with people
• Must be able to work with extensive standing, frequent bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting and walking

Comp:

$16.50 hourly + Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, PTO, Uniforms, Shoe Allowance)

Schedule:

8-12 hour shift Monday thru Friday Overtime Weekends occasionally

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
