Job Description
Job Summary We are a fourth generation family owned and operated company that services over 350 medical linen customers weekly in SC and GA. We are looking for a motivated person to oversee daily production flow from our automated wash line to finished linen delivery. We need a Production Foreman to lead our great team while monitoring production metrics (KPIs), minimize equipment downtime, optimizing workflow, and meet daily production schedules while insuring we produce the highest quality linen.
Responsibilities Production Leadership:
Oversee daily operations, including washing, drying, and folding departments to meet customer demand and production metrics.Safety & Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA) and healthcare regulations, including infectious waste handling and infection control standards.Staff Management:
Supervise, train, coach, and schedule production staff, addressing employee performance and turnover.Quality Control:
Monitor the quality of laundered items to ensure they meet cleanliness and sterility standards for healthcare clients.Equipment Coordination:
Partner with maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency of industrial laundry equipment.Workflow Optimization:
Identify bottlenecks, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, organized work environmentRequirements Experience:
Production, industrial, or manufacturing environment, with a preference for industrial laundry experience preferred.Leadership:
Proven experience managing hourly teams, with strong motivational and coaching skills.Technical Skills:
Knowledge of production machinery, computers and fluent with Microsoft excel.Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in related field often preferred.Soft Skills:
Strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentPay:
