Production Lead Central Islip, NY 11722 $24.78 - $32.00 an hour - Full-time $24.78 - $32.00 an hour - Full-time Long Island manufacturing company is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Production Lead to oversee daily operations, ensuring the manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards. This role leads production personnel, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and prioritize daily production schedules to meet deadlines Pull and verify Bill of Materials (BOM) for production orders, ensuring accuracy and availability of components Work closely with ERP systems to process and release production orders Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution Ensure materials are staged and delivered to production areas in a timely manner Supervise and support production staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers as needed Identify and address material shortages or inefficiencies in workflow Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Experience pulling and managing Bill of Materials in a production or manufacturing environment required Strong background in inventory control and material handling a must ERP system experience (production orders, inventory transactions, etc.) Familiarity with warehouse equipment (forklift, reach lift, cherry picker) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
