COPY LINK link We are searching for a Direct Hire Production Manager at a manufacturer in Sharon, PA. The position is responsible for the technical management, supervision and control of industrial production processes. Duties and responsibilities Plan andanize production and shipping/receiving schedules in conjunction with the CAD Department, to include lead & delivery schedules Assess project and resources requirements; manage all shop inventory Ensures that allpany safety practices and procedures are add to by all production, shipping/receiving and maintenance staff and leads by example. Implement and enforce allpany quality control standards. Oversee all production processes, ensure continuous improvement and most cost effective methods Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution, supply chain, sales (inside & outside) and management Ensure that the standard operating procedures are followed, and assist with the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment Cross-train employees for maximum production flexibility Prepare and maintain production reports as required (i.e., weekly, monthly) Perform and participate in the recruitment and hiring processes for production staff, review worker performance,anize necessary interventions for improvement, and identify training needs

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited College or University, or an equivalentbination of education & experience 5 - 9+ years of experience in production and manufacturing processes, excellent technical knowledge in the steel, mining, industrial, recycling or maintenance repair industry, to include Supervisory experience Exceptional verbal and writtenmunication skills, including ability to effectivelymunicate with internal and external customers, extremelyanized Excellentputer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments topletion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Strong analytical skills, exceptional judgment, dependable, excellent teamwork skills, good time management skills, able to delegate, creative, problem-solving, hardworking & persistent, professionalpetence, proactive Maintains good public relations by displaying an attitude of dedication, courtesy and professionalpetence that will be recognized as such by customers (internal and external) Entrepreneurial; must have the ability to develop business, sales and marketing plans; ability to introduce new products and services, to include managing those processes Current/active driver's license, as may travel up to 10% of the time to customer sites

Preferred Education & Experience:

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited College or University, or an equivalentbination of education & experience 10+ years of experience in production and manufacturing processes within the steel, mining, industrial, recycling or maintenance repair industry, to include Supervisory experience Experience in drawings, working with templates, and basic understanding and interest of CAD and nesting software Experience in the cutting of steel with oxy-fuel or plasma Knowledge of
