$80

• 90k a year to start Description The main goals of this candidate will be to lead and coordinate manufacturing activities.

They will plan production and supervise their shift supervisors. They will also ensure that products are built correctly, on time, and within budget. Will also need to be aware of compliance and customer specific specs.

Job duties include:

• Works collaboratively with Safety, Quality, Facilities, People Operations, and Production to ensure successful operation of the production area
• Evaluates performance of the team and adjusts personnel as needed
• Interviews, hires, and places new employees into the department and role that best matches their skills
• Works with shop leadership team to develop their skills
• Ensures all safety initiatives, policies, and programs are being followed for a safe workplace
• Ensures quality standards are upheld
• Ensures all product ships on time and creates a game plan when there is a risk of late shipments
• Monitors production results against weekly and monthly goals. Works with the Superintendents to adjust manpower to meet goals.
• Evaluates department efficiencies and looks for areas for improvement.
• Makes sure the production area is clean and organized so that it is ready for a customer visit at any time.
• Provides justifications for deviations from budget Work Environment Relatively clean environment for a Coil/Heat exchanger manufacturer, but still has some dirt. Hot in summer and cool in winter. Vacation:

Two weeks to start although we prorate the first year if you start midyear. Vacation goes up 1 day per year thru 10 years and then jumps 3 days at 15 years and 2 more days at 20 years

Wage:

80-90K to start plus profit sharing and ESOP which roughly equates to 105-120K total compensation but please be clear on the base as the rest is based on company performance Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in York,PA.
