Job Description

Production Manager - $130k/annually DOE! This position is a direct hire opportunity! Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Production Manager for our automotive manufacturing client to start immediately up to $130k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
Responsibilities:
The Production Manager is responsible for leading all manufacturing and production activities within a Tier 1 automotive environment focused on high-volume metal stamping and light assembly. This role drives performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while overseeing stamping presses, welding operations, and assembly lines. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience and a technical background in metal stamping within a fast-paced, automated manufacturing setting. Lead daily operations across stamping, press operations, spot welding, robotic MIG welding, laser welding, and assembly lines. Ensure consistent achievement of SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) performance targets. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency. Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic presses. Optimize die changeovers, press utilization, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Collaborate with tool & die, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and tooling performance. Ensure all products meet customer specifications and automotive quality standards, including IATF 16949 and
ISO 9001.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts using methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D. Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Develop and manage production schedules aligned with customer demand and delivery timelines. Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed. Coordinate with materials, logistics, and supply chain teams to maintain smooth production flow. Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and production staff. Foster a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Support workforce planning, employee development, and performance management processes. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles including Kaizen, 5S, SMED, and Standard Work. Identify automation opportunities to improve quality and reduce labor costs. Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities. Partner with maintenance to ensure preventive maintenance programs are executed effectively. Support troubleshooting of presses, robotics, weld cells, and assembly equipment. Recommend capital investments to improve safety, capacity, and operational efficiency.

First Shift Overtime on Saturdays as needed.
Required:
5+ years of experience in production or operations management within manufacturing. Strong technical knowledge of metal stamping, tooling, die setup, and press operations. Proven leadership experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing environments. Experience with welding processes including spot welding, robotic MIG, and laser welding. Familiarity with automated assembly systems. Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, OEE, and continuous improvement practices. Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field. Extensive background in automotive metal stamping operations. Experience working within IATF 16949-certified environments. Hands-on experience with robotic welding systems (e.g., Fanuc, ABB). Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams.
