Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Finzer Roller is looking for a first shift Production Manager for our Palmyra, NY location. The Production Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations at our manufacturing plant. Finzer Roller offers $80,000 - $100,000, bonus potential, PTO, medical, dental, vision, life, 401k match.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Leads Company efforts to implement and support best safety practices. Ensures a clean, safe work environment. Assists with coordinating, managing, and planning workflow such that products are manufactured within delivery expectations. Ensures that employees are following company policies and procedures. Works closely with employees to ensure that staff is meeting quality standards. Serves as a point person for all production employees to provide training, assist with quality control, help with production processes, and to answer questions. Is proficient using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Manages staff, prepares work schedules and hours, and assigns specific duties. Fosters a well-trained and motivated staff. Reviews and ensures accuracy of orders before they are released to production. Oversees maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience and 3+ years of supervisory experience. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Must have experience working with machinery, or have a strong mechanical aptitude. Able to coach and mentor, and has professional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with an ERP system a plus. Finzer Roller is a leading provider of rubber rollers and specialty coatings.
