Production Operator - Day Shift

Job Description The Production Line Operator is responsible for running a production line safely and efficiently. You will be fully trained to manage the entire line, from dough mixing to tortilla packaging, and will be accountable for the overall performance of the line. This role is vital to our operations and directly influences our company's metrics. Responsibilities Operate the production line to ensure safe and efficient processes. Manage the entire production process from dough mixing to tortilla packaging. Maintain overall line performance as per tier classification (T1, T2, and T3). Ensure adherence to quality standards and production metrics. Essential Skills Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to identify and analyze problems and plan solutions. Experience with food manufacturing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive work environment. Strong ability to work with manufacturing equipment. Good hand-eye coordination. Focus on maintaining excellent quality. Ability to follow directions and work independently within a team. High attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and methodically. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. We are a premier manufacturer of heat-pressed, hand-stretched flour and corn tortillas, producing about 5 million tortillas per day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
