Job Summary Northern Staffing Services of Petoskey is seeking reliable and dedicated Night Shift Production Packer(s) to join a well established manufacturing facility on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient packaging of products in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, familiarity with packaging processes, and experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environments. As a Production Packer, you will play a vital part in maintaining high-quality output and supporting our production goals. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment and hand tools to assemble, pack, and prepare products for shipment Monitor production lines to ensure packaging meets quality standards and specifications Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, adhering to safety protocols Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations to ensure compliance Support assembly tasks as needed, ensuring timely completion of production orders Document packing activities accurately and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and improve workflow efficiency Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging environments preferred Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and troubleshoot basic machinery issues Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment on rotating 12-hour shifts Must be able to work night shift 8:00PM-8:00AM.
