Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive eye examinations for all ages 2. Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses, based on patient needs and lifestyle considerations 3. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including ophthalmologists, opticians, and primary care physicians to ensure integrated patient care 4. Primary eye care and medical optometry. (Other sub-specialties considered)

Requirements:

1. Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution. 2. Current licensure to practice optometry in the state of Michigan. 3. Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Optometry preferred. 4. Strong clinical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. 5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. 6. Willingness to reside in Petoskey, Michigan, and become an integral part of the local community.
