Job Description

Your role The Production Planner is responsible for managing the full production‑order process for the Systems area (planning → creation → closing) and maintain the master backlog log. Handle material availability, warehouse transfers, shop‑floor loading, customer ship dates, and order revisions.
Main Responsibilities:
Create and revise production orders (routings/BOMs/dates/assignments). Confirm material dates and verify availability. Release orders and prepare shop‑floor packets. Update master log and file completed orders. Coordinate warehouse transfers, kits, shortages, and inventory needs. Support DMRs, stoppages, and material picking. Confirm hours and technically close orders. Communicate with Order Management, Production, Shipping, and Supply Chain. Track KPIs (hour variance, OTD, labor efficiency). Review/update lead times for Systems items. Lead weekly project review meetings. Perform other duties as assigned and collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Order Management, and Engineering/Design. To succeed, you will need
Education:
Associate technical degree preferred.
Relevant Experience:
3-5 years in manufacturing/production planning. 3-5 years ERP use (SAP preferred).
Knowledge/Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Self‑starter with strong work ethic and reliability. Able to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities. Strong process‑adherence and continuous‑improvement mindset. Logical thinker with ability to work through processes to desired outcomes.
