As an Emergency Apparatus Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the manufacturing and assembly process, ensuring that every vehicle meets rigorous safety, quality, and performance standards. This position offers the opportunity to lead a skilled production team, drive continuous improvement, and make a tangible impact in a stable and growing work environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily production operations and assign tasks to meet production schedules. Lead, train, coach, and develop production employees to achieve team goals. Coordinate with other department supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and collaboration. Support and implement lean manufacturing practices, including 5S initiatives. Ensure all work meets quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. Verify completion of required in-process inspections and documentation. Monitor production performance, inventory levels, and material availability to prevent delays. Enforce safety policies, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and housekeeping standards. Conduct safety talks and routine safety inspections to maintain a safe work environment. Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting, particularly with 12-volt automotive electrical systems. Communicate equipment issues to the maintenance team for timely resolution. Review timesheets, manage time-off requests, and assist with employee performance evaluations. Report production status and any issues to the Production Manager. Qualifications Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong technical skills, including experience with 12-volt automotive electrical installation and troubleshooting. Proven leadership, communication, and coaching abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
