Position Summary The Production Supervisor I oversees the day-to-day activities of a small production team, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is responsible for monitoring employee performance, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and addressing minor operational issues. Working under the guidance of more senior managers, the Production Supervisor I executes production plans and ensures team compliance with company policies. This is an entry-level supervisory role aimed at those with basic manufacturing experience and a focus on supporting team success. Key Responsibilities Works under close supervision of higher management, typically a Production Supervisor II or Production Manager. Executes decisions made by more senior leaders. Supervise frontline production staff and daily operations. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or technical certification is preferred. Experience 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Basic leadership or Team Lead experience. Familiarity with production equipment and processes. Work Competency Levels Competency #1
