Job Description

Albany Farms operates a growing food manufacturing facility in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, producing high-quality ramen noodles in a controlled production environment. We are building a dependable, safety-focused team to support consistent growth and long-term success. We are looking for a strong leader who takes ownership, drives results, and holds the line on quality, safety, and performance. Schedule Requirement (Must Be Available)
Training Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Regular Schedule (After Training): Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM This is a fixed schedule and a core requirement of the position Sign-On & Retention Bonus - Up to $1,500 We are offering a structured bonus program to reward reliability and long-term commitment: $250 after 90 days $500 after 6 months $750 after 12 months Total potential bonus: $1,500 Bonus eligibility is based on continued employment, attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies. Position Overview The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations and overseeing production team members during assigned shifts. This role ensures production targets are met without compromising quality, safety, or consistency. The Production Supervisor is directly accountable for shift performance, team execution, and maintaining a controlled, efficient production environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support production team members during assigned shifts Manage daily production workflow, staffing, and assignments to meet production goals Monitor production output and adjust operations to maintain efficiency Ensure all products are produced, identified, and handled according to specifications Enforce compliance with safety procedures, GMP, and food safety standards Identify production issues and coordinate resolution with maintenance or leadership Train and coach team members on equipment, processes, and expectations Maintain awareness of equipment performance and operational processes Communicate clearly with Plant Manager and leadership regarding shift performance and needs Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately and on time Support scheduling coordination and staffing adjustments Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives Perform additional duties as needed Performance Expectations Production targets are met without sacrificing quality Team members are working efficiently and following procedures Quality issues are identified and addressed immediately Safety and food safety standards are enforced consistently Shift communication is clear, accurate, and timely Problems are addressed and resolved on the floor
Qualifications Required:
Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work the required Thursday through Sunday schedule
Preferred:
Experience in food manufacturing environments Strong understanding of production processes and equipment Experience with team leadership, training, and performance management Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours per shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions Work Environment This position operates in a food manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, moving machinery, and varying temperatures. PPE is required at all times.

From $23.00 per hour
