For instant consideration, now! Position Overview The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day shop floor operations across assigned shifts or production lines. This role directly supervises production operators and contract/temporary labor, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved through strong hands-on leadership and real-time problem solving. Key Responsibilities Floor Operations- Supervise daily production activities across assigned shifts and lines, ensuring work instructions and SOPs are followed.
- Directly manage production operators and contract/temporary associates; assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide real-time guidance.
- Respond to line-level issues promptly — including equipment faults, material shortages, quality deviations, and personnel matters — to minimize disruption.
- Track and report daily production output, downtime, and quality metrics to the Production Manager. Quality & Safety
- Enforce quality control standards on the production floor; identify defects and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety briefings, and reporting incidents immediately.
- Conduct regular inspections of workstations to ensurepliance with 5S and housekeeping standards. Team Development
- Support onboarding and on-the-job training of new production associates and temporary workers.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate with Production Manager for training needs.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and collaborative team culture on the shop floor. Coordination
- Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment issues requiring repair or preventive maintenance during shift.
- Communicate shift status, handover notes, and outstanding issues clearly to the iing supervisor.
- Follow staffing agency protocols when managing temporary/contract associates; escalate HR-related matters through proper channels. Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of production operations, assembly processes, and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse, multilingual workforce.
- Solid understanding of quality control standards, safety regulations, and 5S principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin or Spanish language skills strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems is a plus. Compensation & Benefits

Pay Details:
$24.00 to $30.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program,muter benefits and a 401K plan.
