- WKD1 on 1st shift to join our team in Holland, MI. The schedule is Friday
- Sunday. Hours are 6:00 AM
- 6:30 PM (36 hours per week).
Implement continuous improvement and innovation:
Champion and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as leveraging lean tools, to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.Manage team resources and budget:
Manage team resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize production efficiency and control costs. Monitor production performance and provide feedback: Encourage Monitor production performance, track progress against goals, and identify areas for improvement. Supervise a team of manufacturing members: Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to a team of manufacturing members, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation. Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment. Performs other duties within scope as assigned. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operation, Business or Sciences discipline.Education Equivalency:
Associate's degree in Engineering, Operation, Business or Sciences discipline plus 2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience or, 4 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience if no post-secondary education. Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military Experience 3 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience. 2 years supervisory experience.In addition:
Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance. Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position. Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish/English). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing. SAP experience. Furniture industry experience.
