Production Supervisor•Trailer Manufacturing (High-Accountability / Results Driven)

Coyote MFG Co. Position Overview We are seeking a highly driven Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within our trailer manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring production targets are met every day , while maintaining standards for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can quickly learn the manufacturing process, identify inefficiencies, and take immediate action to keep production on track. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of results. Key Responsibilities Daily Production Execution Lead and manage daily production activities to ensure all targets are met Drive the team to "make the day" —no missed commitments without clear cause and corrective action Monitor workflow throughout the shift and adjust resources as needed to maintain output Ensure production stays aligned with schedule and priorities Team Leadership & Accountability Hold team members accountable to performance expectations, attendance, and work standards Keep employees focused, engaged, and working efficiently throughout the shift Address performance issues in real time—do not allow problems to carry over day to day Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and accountability on the floor Problem Solving & Obstacle Removal Identify and resolve production issues quickly to prevent downtime Remove obstacles that impact workflow, including material shortages, equipment issues, and labor imbalances Escalate critical issues when necessary, but take ownership of solving problems at the floor level Implement practical solutions to keep production moving forward Process Understanding & Improvement Learn the manufacturing process in depth, including all major workstations and flow Understand and manage takt time and cycle time to maintain consistent production pace Identify inefficiencies and drive improvements that increase throughput and reduce waste Support implementation of standardized work and continuous improvement initiatives Cost Awareness & Efficiency Maintain awareness of labor efficiency and production costs Ensure labor is being used effectively and aligned with production needs Reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary downtime through disciplined execution Communication & Coordination Communicate production status, risks, and needs clearly to leadership Coordinate with other departments (engineering, maintenance, logistics) to support production goals Participate in daily reviews and provide accurate updates on performance and challenges Required Qualifications Proven experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role Strong understanding of production flow, scheduling, and shop floor operations Ability to lead teams and hold employees accountable Experience with takt time, cycle time, and production pacing Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure High level of ownership, urgency, and work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience in trailer, fabrication, or metal manufacturing environments Familiarity with SQDC or similar production management systems Experience improving labor efficiency and throughput Hands-on background in welding, fabrication, or assembly processes What Success Looks Like in This Role Production targets are met consistently— the day is made, every day The team works with focus, urgency, and accountability Problems are addressed immediately, not carried forward Labor is utilized efficiently with minimal wasted time The production floor operates with structure, discipline, and predictability Why This Role Matters This position directly impacts our ability to deliver on time, control costs, and maintain operational stability. The right supervisor will drive performance, eliminate excuses, and ensure production runs at the level required to meet customer demand. HOURS Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m.•5:00 p.m. Friday•as neededPay:
