Job Description

The Impact You'll Make As a Production Team Leader at Danfoss, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. Your leadership will help ensure that every product leaving our Tallahassee facility meets our high standards for quality and performance. You will guide and develop a team of skilled operators, empowering them to grow, solve problems, and deliver outstanding results. Your ability to coach, communicate, and drive improvement will directly influence productivity, customer satisfaction, and team engagement. In this role, you'll be a daily presence on the shop floor—leading by example, making decisions that matter, and building a culture where people feel confident, supported, and motivated to excel. What You'll Be Doing Lead your production area by coaching team members, assigning work, and creating a safe, high-performing environment that meets key performance targets. Develop and mentor employees through on-the-job training, feedback, and guidance that supports growth and builds versatility across the team. Use root-cause problem-solving skills to remove obstacles, resolve issues, and help your team improve quality, productivity, and flow. Ensure process and quality standards are followed and take action when issues arise to meet safety, delivery, and quality expectations. Drive continuous improvement and 5S, helping your team adopt better ways of working and contributing to a strong improvement culture. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. Manufacturing experience, including hands-on understanding of production environments. Experience leading, training, or guiding others in a workplace setting. Ability to communicate clearly, coach effectively, and make confident decisions. Basic proficiency with standard digital tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel). What You'll Get from Us We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities. You'll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us. We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are. You'll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they're worth asking about—we think they're pretty great. Ready to Make a Difference? If this role excites you, we'd love to hear from you!
