NatureWorks is an advanced materials company providing renewably-sourced polymers and chemicals to industries such as packaging, fibers, and chemicals. Our Ingeo™ polymers offer eco-friendly alternatives to oil-based products and are used in various applications from electronics to 3D printing.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Production Technician responsible for the safe, daily operations of our production plant. This role involves environmental compliance, ensuring product quality, and maintaining plant safety. The position requires 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts will rotate from days to nights every 8 weeks. Our plant is located in the Blair bio-refinery campus.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Leadership :

Ensure plant safety, identify unsafe conditions, and follow EH&S policies.

Operations :

Operate equipment, monitor plant systems, troubleshoot, and adjust processes as needed.

Collaboration :

Communicate with supervisors about quality and cost control improvements.

Housekeeping :

Maintain plant cleanliness and support overall plant upkeep.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Manufacturing experience desired. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay starts at $27.50 per hour. Benefits begin on day 1. 3 weeks of vacation, 6 family/sick days. 8.5% company 401k contribution.
