Job Description

Shift :
Flexible 1st shift schedule. 4x10: Monday through Thursday from 7am to 5:30pm 4X10: Tuesday through Friday from 7am to 5:30pm 4X8: Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm Overview Join our dynamic team as a Vibration Data Collector, where your keen mechanical insight and attention to detail will drive the success of our vibration analysis and quality assurance initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting precise vibration data from various machinery and equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards such as ASME codes. Your efforts will support our commitment to manufacturing excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills in data collection, non-destructive testing, and mechanical inspection within a fast-paced production environment. Duties Conduct vibration data collection on rotating machinery, equipment, and structural components using specialized sensors and measurement tools Perform quality control inspections to verify the integrity of mechanical assemblies and components according to schematics and technical drawings Utilize hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and soldering equipment to assist in assembly and repair tasks as needed Apply non-destructive testing techniques to assess equipment condition without causing damage, ensuring compliance with safety standards Analyze collected vibration data to identify anomalies or deviations from expected performance levels Document inspection results accurately in reports and maintain detailed records for quality assurance purposes Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics, technical specifications, and ASME standards during inspections and data collection processes Requirements Proven experience with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly or related manufacturing processes is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in assembly, schematics interpretation, and mechanical inspection techniques Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance practices within a manufacturing setting Experience with non-destructive testing methods and analysis skills for evaluating equipment condition Proficiency in using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, soldering irons, and other measurement devices Ability to follow detailed procedures aligned with ASME codes & standards for safety and quality compliance Excellent attention to detail with strong documentation skills for recording inspection findings accurately Basic understanding of data collection systems related to vibration monitoring technology Join us in ensuring our machinery operates at peak performance! Pay:
$18.00 - $20.75 per hour
