5189 Stump Rd, Plumsteadville, PA 18949
Shift:
First Shift, 12-hour shifts (4:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.), Monday - Thursday. Fridays as needed for overtime.
Position Summary:
Production Technician I team members support production operations by operating, cleaning, preparing, repairing, and monitoring production equipment used to mix, screen, blend, grind, mill, crush, and process bulk powder compounds. Responsibilities include handling materials, recording production data, monitoring processes, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Operate equipment for processing bulk materials according to customer specifications (blending, grinding, crushing, milling, etc.). Monitor and follow process parameters as outlined in work orders and documentation. Read and apply all relevant project, safety, and quality documentation. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and processing equipment to ensure a safe environment. Perform equipment cleaning and maintenance per SOPs, SQF, GMP requirements. Reassemble processing equipment and prepare it for the next use. Record inventory and complete safety, quality, and order documentation as needed. Participate in team initiatives such as inventory counts, clean-up, and continuous improvement projects.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience. 1-2 years of experience in a production environment preferred. Ability to lift 55 lbs on a consistent basis. Competence in using basic hand tools and measurement equipment. Ability to use company e-mail, order processing, and time management software.
