Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Meat Production Worker to join our team in a fast-paced food processing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the preparation, processing, packaging, and quality control of meat products. This role requires strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Cut, trim, grind, and portion meat using knives and other tools Operate meat processing equipment such as grinders, slicers, tenderizers, and vacuum sealers Package and label meat products accurately and efficiently Monitor product quality and report any inconsistencies or issues to the supervisor Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and hygiene standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and machinery Assist in loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products Keep records of production quantities and materials used (as required) Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in meat processing, food production, or a manufacturing environment is an asset Ability to use hand tools and operate meat processing equipment safely Basic math and communication skills Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Willingness to work in cold environments (refrigerated areas) Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety

Working Conditions:

Work in refrigerated environments (32-45°F / 0-7°C) Exposure to raw meat, blood, and strong odors Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, aprons, hairnets, etc. Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
