Responsibilities Conduct dog training sessions to improve obedience, behavior, and socialization using positive reinforcement techniques, per the Sit Means Sit Training Methods Assist customers in selecting appropriate training programs based on their needs Handle dogs safely and confidently during training and one-on-one sessions, ensuring proper techniques Support the team with duties such as cleaning, feeding, and caring for animals in our care areas as needed Engage with customers with exemplary customer service skills to build trust and provide exceptional service Assist with heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or animals when necessary to maintain a safe enviroment Skills Proven experience in dog training or dog behavior Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely manage dogs of various sizes and temperaments Knowledge of general animal care practices Customer service expertise with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics Excellent communication skills to educate pet owners effectively on training methods and pet care needs Join us in creating the best life for our dogs and clients!
