Program Coordinator Community Partnership on Aging South Euclid, OH Job Details Full-time $24 - $30 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications CPR Certification CPR Research Driver's License Full Job Description Program Coordinator Community Partnership on Aging (CPA) Community Partnership on Aging is seeking an organized, compassionate, and energetic Program Coordinator to help develop and manage engaging programs that support the health, independence, and well-being of older adults in our communities. The Program Coordinator will work closely with participants, instructors, volunteers, and community partners to coordinate educational, wellness, social, and recreational programming across eight community centers and virtual platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys community engagement, event coordination, relationship building, and creating meaningful experiences for older adults.
Salary:
$24-$30 per hour, depending on qualifications
Reports To:
Director About the Role Programs are offered throughout the communities of Gates Mills, Highland Heights, Lyndhurst, Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village, Richmond Heights, South Euclid, and University Heights, as well as online. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring these programs are well organized, welcoming, and responsive to participant needs. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Development & Coordination Plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee a variety of programs and activities focused on healthy aging, wellness, education, and social engagement Research and recommend evidence-based programming opportunities Monitor ongoing programs and evaluate participant engagement and outcomes Coordinate one-time events, workshops, and multi-session programming Recruit, schedule, and support instructors, presenters, and activity leaders Supervise program assistants and volunteers Maintain program registration processes and participant records Collect required program data, surveys, and grant-related reporting information Manage program fees, payments, and deposit preparation Coordinate room setup and ensure supplies and materials are available for scheduled programs Community Engagement Serve as a liaison for community organizations interested in partnering with CPA Build collaborative relationships with local municipalities and community stakeholders Provide timely program information and updates for newsletters, marketing materials, and website content Organizational Support Represent CPA professionally throughout the communities it serves Participate as a collaborative member of the CPA team Support agency-wide events and special programming, including occasional evening or off-hour activities with advance notice Maintain financial accountability and operate within approved budgets Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant work experience may be substituted Experience coordinating programs, events, or activities preferred Experience working with older adults or in senior services strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications Ability to work independently, solve problems, and respond appropriately in emergency situations Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and organizational skills Sensitivity to the needs and experiences of older adults CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation required Additional Information The responsibilities listed above describe the primary functions of the position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
