Program Manager (Direct Support Professional)

Work with developmentally disabled and/or physically disabled adults in the facility/community, providing training and assistance with skills of daily living, communication, socialization, safety skills, etc. while maintaining the health and safety of persons served. Great hours, day shift, Mon-Fri, no nights, holidays or weekends. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and 5 years of working with the populations served and at least 2 years in a leadership role. Preferred bachelor's degree from an accredited university and at least 2 years of experience working with the populations served. 2. A negative reaction to a TB skin test or chest x-ray. 3. A negative result to a drug screening. 4. A clean driving record, as determined by current insurance carrier for Life Skills Centers, Inc. 5. Demonstrated ability to supervise and train employees. 6. Demonstrates oral and written communication skills sufficient to carrying out job duties described herein. 7. The ability to use a personal computer to conduct day-to-day business, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and current corporate database. 8. Required in-service training must be successfully completed within the first 90-120 days of employment as indicated by sponsoring agency/ funder. 9. Two positive character references. 10.
