Programs Assistant (Activities)

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Programs Assistant (Activities) to join our team and help foster engaging, meaningful experiences for residents in our senior living community. In this role, you will coordinate and implement a variety of recreational and social activities tailored to the interests and needs of residents, including those with memory care requirements such as Alzheimer's and dementia. Duties Plan, organize, and facilitate diverse recreational activities that cater to residents' interests, abilities, and care needs Assist with the development of activity schedules that balance engagement, relaxation, and therapeutic benefits Coordinate special events, outings, and community engagement initiatives Skills Proven experience in event planning or activity coordination within assisted living or memory care settings Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care strategies, and senior care best practices Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and external vendors This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about enhancing the lives of seniors through engaging programming.
