Job Description

Help Power High-Performing Project Teams! Prairie Engineers, P.C. is seeking a highly proactive and people-focused Project Administrator who can bring order to complexity and keep projects moving forward. As a trusted right-hand partner to our project managers, you will anticipate needs, organize large volumes of data and information, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will maintain composure under pressure while effectively prioritizing and executing tasks with minimal direction. You excel at structuring complex information, streamlining workflows, and leveraging AI tools to boost efficiency and decision-making. By owning coordination, communication, and detail-driven tasks with a responsive, collaborative approach, you will enable project managers to focus on higher-level strategic work and directly expand overall project capacity. What You'll Do Create, update, and maintain workflow plans and project documentation including estimates, earned values and closeouts. Organize and track professional service agreements, subcontractor agreements, and ensure full contract compliance. Monitor project progress, proactively identify and address potential issues, and coordinate quality controls to ensure procedures are followed. Measure and report on project performance with a strong focus on client satisfaction, attention to detail and deadlines, and ontime delivery. What You'll Bring 2+ years' project administration experience, preferably in engineering, consulting or similar technical environment. Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field highly preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Strong "cando" attitude with a track record of success with document organization, client communication, and report creation. A peoplefocused mindset; professional, respectful, and teamoriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively both internally and externally. Initiative and a positive approach to challenges facilitating problemsolving and delivering solutions with minimal direction.

We offer:
Competitive Compensation $30.00$50.00 per hour (depending on experience, internal and external benchmarking). Schedule & Location Flexibility Hybrid or workfromhome options after a successful initial inoffice period; we accommodate nonroutine schedules and parttime needs. Generous Time Off PTO accrual commensurate with length of industry service (160 hours up to 10 years, 200 hours at 10+), plus 8 extra hours for every 5 years of company service. Paid Premium Overtime First 80 hours banked as comp time; anything beyond paid at 1.5x your hourly rate.
