Job Description

Description We are seeking a highly skilled architectural professional with strong BIM and AutoCAD expertise and demonstrated experience producing construction documents for: + Structural steel-framed buildings + Tilt‑wall concrete construction + Insulated metal panel systems + Commercial masonry facilities Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with senior staff to meet project goals, schedules, and program requirements. Research, interpret, and apply zoning regulations, site development standards, and building codes. Ensure full compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and jurisdictional requirements. Track work progress and communicate production needs and expectations to senior team members. Prepare design drawings, architectural models, and specifications as directed. Coordinate tenant interior construction documents with core and shell drawing packages. Integrate architectural models with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Develop and document architectural details required for complete construction documentation. Participate in technical coordination discussions with contractors, consultants, project teams, and clients. Prepare, submit, and revise documents for jurisdictional plan review and building permits. Respond to plan review comments, RFIs, and construction submittals. Review and understand project budgets, schedules, and contractual requirements. Conduct on‑site construction observations to verify compliance with contract documents. Travel to project sites as required. LEED AP, NCARB
preferred Proficient knowledge in Autodesk Revit, AutoCad, and Microsoft Office Suite required Hand Sketching - intermediate experience required Advanced Construction Detailing and Construction Specifications required Building Codes experience required Industrial Warehouse and Distribution experience preferably IMP Wall, Freezer, Cooler or Cross-Dock Facilities Minimum 6 years professional experience in an architecture firm preferred Minimum 10 years of hands on production experience preferred PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings) experience a plus Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $94000.00 - $110000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
