Job Title:
Project Controls Specialist Compensation, Benefits, and Employment Type Duration:
3 years Pay rate: $60-$85/hr Benefits include medical insurance, 401(k), 10 days of Paid Time off, and 11 paid holidays

M-F, standard business hours Job#: 19044 Facilities Project Controls Professional A large research-focused organization is seeking a project controls professional to support facilities operations, construction planning, project reporting, risk assessment, scheduling, resource planning, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules. Combine multiple schedules into a master project schedule. Maintain project financial forecasts and cash-flow projections. Track schedule deviations, variances, and corrective actions. Prepare schedule reports, trend charts, and project analysis. Track scope changes and analyze performance trends. Lead process improvement initiatives across project delivery workflows. Identify key metrics, data sources, and reporting strategies. Support change management, communication plans, and best-practice sharing. Help implement project management software and related business processes. Transition manual workflows into automated project management tools. Required Skills 5-10 years of project controls, portfolio scheduling, or construction management software experience. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of design, architecture, engineering, and construction principles. Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience writing functional guidelines or specifications. Proficiency with project management software, preferably Procore. Advanced proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and Microsoft Office. Experience with change initiatives, process improvement, and interdisciplinary teams. Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field. PMP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within one year of hire. Additional Notes Interim clearance acceptable to start.
Hybrid/onsite expectation:
