Project Coordinator - Pipe Central Processing United States, Illinois, Madison May 14, 2026 The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service. We are seeking a Project Coordinator in our Pipe division for County Materials at our Madison, IL location.
Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator supports project planning and execution by reviewing designs, preparing quotes, coordinating orders, and ensuring timely delivery of construction materials. This role serves as a key link between internal teams and customers, keeping projects on track, aligned with company standards, and meeting production and delivery timelines. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in coordinating multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication across teams.Job Duties:
Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Prepare quotes, take-offs, and initial product designs into working drawings/documents. Coordinate sales orders and act as a liaison between team members and other departments. Plan and organize regional loads, dispatch trucks to meet customer requests, and support production team activities. Monitor project progress and ensure goals align with company culture and objectives. Apply knowledge of construction materials, including precast concrete, to assist with project planning. Perform tasks according to pre-established guidelines while exercising judgment to meet goals.Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with some interaction in production or warehouse areas. Occasional field visits may be required. Moderate office noise is typical.Physical Requirements:
Frequently sit, use a keyboard, talk, and hear. Occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, or use close vision. Occasionally perform repetitive motions and manual handling tasks as needed.Experience & Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field. Familiarity with construction materials, engineering concepts, and project coordination practices. Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills. Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; AutoCAD experience preferred. Positive, proactive attitude and customer-service orientation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.Similar remote jobs
