Job Description

The position does not provide direct care to patients.

Responsibilities Essential Functions Coordinates procedural matters regarding the day-to day operations of a healthcare or administrative program. Supports departmental initiatives by implementing and monitoring the progress of different projects, ensuring that goals and deadlines are met. Plans and implements procedural changes and modifications for the project. Monitors expenditures to ensure compliance within prescribed budget parameters. Assists in the preparation of proposals or outreach publications. Maintains or oversees the maintenance of project records, lists or files. Prepares related reports and performs evaluation of project effectiveness. Provides information to staff and leadership regarding the policies and procedures of the project or department. May provide or work directly with computer support for departmental/project objectives and determine appropriate software needed. May prepare and coordinate seminars, workshops, luncheons and educational materials within the scope of the project/department. May act as the University's representative for this field or specialty area when contacting other departments and outside organizations.
Knowledge / Skills
/ Abilities Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Qualifications Required Six years related experience in assigned areas, or equivalency. Depending upon department of hire, a valid, State of Utah Driver's License may be required. Qualifications (Preferred) Preferred Bachelor's degree in a related area. Working towards an MBA/MHA/MPH or related Masters level degree Working Conditions and Physical Demands Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.
