Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- As a Project Engineer you will become knowledgeable of system design and communicate design concepts via sketches and renderings.
In your role you will:
+ Assist in the design of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing/fire protection systems based on field of study, using AutoCAD and Revit, for a variety of projects to include but not limited to corporate interiors, facilities infrastructure redevelopment, and Core and Shell new construction + Mechanical engineers will become familiar with HVAC load programs + Electrical engineers will become familiar with electrical load calculations, feeder voltage drops, lighting control design systems, Fire Alarm system design, etc. + Plumbing/Fire Protection engineers will assist in hydraulic calculations for sprinkler system design + Learn how to identify, select, and specify equipment + Learn how to interpret National and local building codes + Attend and assist in surveys and/or construction field inspections, along with the review of contractor shop drawings + Be exposed to the shop drawing and submittal process + Meet project schedules and perform work within budget + Perform other engineering duties as assignedDesired Skills and Experience:
- + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, EIT preferred + Previous engineering internship, a plus + Knowledge of the latest version of MEP Auto CAD; REVIT experience is a plus. + Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite Starting salary $78,000 \#LI-CM1 #LI-Onsite
