As we continue to grow, we are looking for a seasoned Project Manager who knows what it means to build from the ground up — literally. The opportunity This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing masonry and concrete construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout. You will own the job site — coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. You will work directly with ownership and clients, serving as the face of our company in the field. What you will do Manage multiple concurrent masonry and concrete projects from contract award through final punch list and owner acceptance Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and cost reports; identify and mitigate risks early Direct and coordinate field crews, mason foremen, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure daily production targets are met Procure and manage materials, equipment, and subcontract agreements; review and approve invoices and change orders Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, and municipal inspectors Enforce OSHA compliance, company safety protocols, and NJ-specific regulatory requirements on all job sites Prepare and submit RFIs, submittals, daily logs, and progress reports in a timely manner Support estimating and preconstruction teams with site assessments, scope reviews, and value engineering input What you bring 5+ years of project management experience in masonry, concrete, or structural construction — field experience as a foreman or superintendent is a major plus Deep understanding of masonry systems (brick, CMU, stone), concrete flatwork, formed concrete, and related scopes Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Experience managing union and/or non-union masonry labor in the tri-state area preferred; familiarity with NJ prevailing wage requirements is a strong advantage Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 510 or competent person training a plus Strong communication and leadership skills — able to command the job site while maintaining professional client relationships Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred — equivalent field experience considered Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel to job sites throughout Essex County and greater
