Job Description
We have an outstanding career opportunity for aProject Managerto join a leading Company located in the Portsmouth, NH or Concord, NHsurrounding area. This role is responsible for managing project delivery, coordinating teams, supporting client communication, and helping drive successful design and construction outcomes. The Project Manager will lead multiple medium to large projects, manage scopes, budgets, and schedules, oversee invoicing and cost tracking, and work closely with internal teams, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and clients. This person will also support business development, mentor junior staff, and help maintain quality and client satisfaction across assignments. This role includes project involvement from planning and design through construction support. Responsibilities include reviewing design information, coordinating drawings and specifications, supporting permit and technical document development, monitoring project budgets, reviewing shop drawings and payment applications, managing change documents, facilitating construction meetings, and helping resolve field issues. Travel is required.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Lead multiple medium to large projects. + Manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and invoicing. + Oversee communication with clients and regulatory officials. + Mentor junior staff. + Support proposals and business development. + Review shop drawings, payment applications, and change documents. + Facilitate construction meetings and help resolve field issues.Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field. + Valid Professional Engineer license in the state where employed. + Ten years of experience as a Project Engineer with five years of experience in a Senior Project Engineer role. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. + Preferred experience with Bluebeam, SewerCAD, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, HydroCAD, and BioWin. + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. + 10 Hour OSHA Training Certificate. + Water experience. + Engineering degree. + PE license. + Ability to lead projects, budgets, teams, and client communication.
