Job Description
•Description•About the Role Reporting to the leader of the Office of Continuous Improvement, the Project Manager, Business Transformation, will support process improvement and transformation initiatives across the agency. This individual will lead and coach teams on projects that enhance business operations, strengthen customer experience, and explore opportunities to apply emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI). The Project Manager, Business Transformation will act as a liaison to a portfolio of departments across the organization to help deliver measurable improvements aligned with the Port Authority's priorities and standards. The Office of Continuous Improvement is responsible for implementing the agency's continuous improvement framework and methodology to transform business processes, enhance customer experience, and foster innovation. Our toolkit includes Lean, Six Sigma, design thinking, and automation technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). In addition, OCI oversees a robust training and certification program to embed continuous improvement into the organizational culture and multiply its impact across the enterprise. Responsibilities + Collaborate with department leaders to shape and maintain a prioritized pipeline of transformation initiatives aligned to strategic objectives. + Coordinate and support cross-functional project teams in delivering transformation initiatives, ensuring the effective application of continuous improvement and change management methodologies to achieve measurable outcomes. + Support project teams in applying continuous improvement and transformation methodologies to deliver measurable results. + Contribute to the design and implementation of new tools and approaches, including data-driven and AI-enabled solutions that enhance business processes and decision-making. + Support the scaling of transformation capabilities through training and onboarding staff to the agency's continuous improvement and business transformation framework. + Conduct research and data analysis to identify improvement opportunities, generate insights, and support execution of cross-functional transformation initiatives. + Track, analyze, and report on initiative performance, including key metrics, risks, and value realization. Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. + Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in business transformation, operations, project/program management, or related fields within complex organizations. + Two (2) years of experience applying continuous improvement methodologies; certification (Lean, Six Sigma) or equivalent required. + Proven success supporting or delivering continuous improvement or transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes. + Demonstrated skills in problem solving, process analysis, and change management. Desired Qualifications + Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. + Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation or strategic initiatives. + Experience in automation or AI-related projects is a plus. + Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to support multiple projects simultaneously. + Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey anticipates that the actual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on aspects such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal factors. The expected compensation range for this role is: Minimum:

$117,018Maximum:
$144,014 In accordance with Port Authority policy, this position permits employees to work remotely a maximum of one day per week. In person collaboration is essential to how the Port Authority conducts business, and regular in-office days or team collaboration days may be required on business needs.REQNUMBER
