Job details Summary Spherion $80,000 - $120,000 per year Permanent 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Industry construction, trades & mining (Construction and Extraction Occupations) Reference number S_175938 Job details The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering assigned projects on time and within budget while ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role manages project execution from handoff through closeout, coordinating internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
Coordinate with estimating, engineering/detailing, fabrication/shop leadership, field teams, and subcontractors.
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation control.
Track costs (labor, materials, subs), forecast, and maintain job cost visibility.
Lead client communication: status updates, issue escalation, and expectation management.
Support procurement and material tracking; ensure long-lead items are identified early.
Run internal and external project meetings; capture action items and drive follow-through.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company SOPs.
Manage punch lists, closeout documents, and final billing. experience 7-10 years skills Experience in steel fabrication/erection, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or industrial construction.
Familiarity with drawings/blueprints and basic construction documentation (RFIs, submittals).Experience managing subcontractors and field installation schedules.
