PROJECT MANAGER - F.F.E.
(Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage F.F.E. projects from planning through installation and closeout, ensuring alignment with project objectives, schedules, budgets, and client expectations Coordinate procurement, delivery, installation, and tracking of fixtures, and equipment for commercial, retail, and multi-site projects Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting while managing workload and meeting project KPIs Review project scope, specifications, and drawings to identify discrepancies, potential issues, and value-engineering opportunities Communicate with vendors, contractors, installers, manufacturers, and internal teams to resolve project challenges and maintain project timelines Maintain accurate project documentation including purchase orders, submittals, installation schedules, change orders, and customer communications Coordinate logistics for deliveries, warehousing, inventory management, and on-site installation activities Monitor product lead times and proactively address supply chain or scheduling impacts Maintain knowledge of F.F.E. products, finishes, manufacturers, and industry standards to support project execution and client needs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion and customer satisfaction Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate recommendations through appropriate channels Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, installation methods, and project management best practices Use internal systems, reporting tools, and project management software to support project initiatives Contribute to a positive company culture and support additional duties as assignedCOMMUNICATION
Provide clear, professional, and concise written and verbal communication Facilitate communication among clients, vendors, contractors, installers, and internal stakeholders by providing regular updates and progress reports Read, analyze, and interpret project documents, specifications, floor plans, schedules, and contracts Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries, project concerns, and schedule changes Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and project teams to ensure alignment and issue resolution expertise, best practices, and lessons learned to support team collaboration and continuous improvement Escalate project risks, delays, or unresolved issues appropriately and in a timely mannerCRITICAL THINKING
Demonstrate the ability to solve problems and manage challenges while maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships Identify and address project issues, conflicts, scheduling concerns, and installation challenges promptly and effectively Analyze project requirements and coordinate resources to ensure successful execution across multiple simultaneous projects Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, specification, or schedule form Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and timelinesQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in F.F.E. Fixtures and Equipment construction, retail Experience managing multi-site or large-scale F.F.E. projects Knowledge of furniture procurement, installation coordination, logistics, and vendor management Ability to successfully coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, installers, and subcontractors General business background with working knowledge of project management principles, practices, and techniques Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Must be proficient in Microsoft ProjectsEDUCATION
BS or BA Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience PMP or CAPM certification preferred but not mandatory Industry certifications or experience related to interiors, construction, or F.F.E. procurement is a plusPAY RANGE
