Job Description

Scope of Work:
Identify and prioritize relevant funding opportunities (HRSA, USDA, Delta Regional Authority, and other federal/state sources) Develop and write competitive grant proposals from start to submission Collaborate with HR and leadership to gather workforce data and program details Assist with grant strategy, timelines, and supporting documentation Provide guidance on compliance and reporting requirements
Priority Focus Areas:
Nursing recruitment and retention programs Behavioral health workforce expansion Rural workforce pipeline development (education partnerships, training programs)
Required Experience:
Demonstrated success securing federal healthcare grants (especially HRSA) Experience working with rural hospitals or health systems Strong understanding of healthcare workforce challenges Ability to manage full grant lifecycle (research submission)
Preferred:
Experience with Delta Regional Authority or USDA funding Background in healthcare administration, public health, or nonprofit management
