Project Manager
Locations
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial and data center construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The role is accountable for delivering projects on schedule, within budget and to quality and safety standards while coordinating self-perform work and managing specialty contractors. The Project Manager will serve as the primary client contact on-site and collaborate with internal design, procurement and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and commissioning.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead full project lifecycle planning, scheduling and execution for industrial and data center construction projects.
Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting; implement cost-control measures and manage change orders.
Coordinate and supervise self-perform crews, ensuring productivity, quality and safe work practices.
Select, negotiate with and manage specialty contractors and subcontractors; oversee subcontract scopes, schedules and compliance.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or equivalent; monitor critical path and adjust resources to meet milestones.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards; enforce site safety programs and conduct regular inspections.
Oversee procurement and material logistics to support on-site work and minimize delays.
Communicate regularly with owners, stakeholders, design teams and consultants; prepare project status reports and lead project meetings.
Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; implement corrective actions to resolve issues proactively.
Manage commissioning, turnover and closeout activities including punch lists, as-built documentation and warranty coordination.
QualificationsMinimum 3 years construction project management experience with a focus on industrial and/or data center projects.
Proven experience managing self-perform work and coordinating specialty contractors on technically complex projects.
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, MEP systems commonly used in data centers, and industrial processes.
Demonstrated budget, schedule and contract management skills; experience with change order negotiation.
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Procore, Primavera or similar) and familiarity with BIM/CAD deliverables.
Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM or LEED are a plus; OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training required.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams on fast-paced projects.
Willingness to travel to project sites; valid drivers license and ability to work on active construction sites.
