The Promotions & Marketing Manager at Thomas Entertainment will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns and promotions designed to drive traffic, increase sales, and enhance brand awareness. This role involves developing creative promotional strategies that resonate with families, groups, and individuals, leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels. The Promotions Marketing Manager will work closely with the sales, events, and operations teams to ensure the successful launch and management of campaigns, while measuring their effectiveness and ROI.Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement creative promotional campaigns and marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones. Design seasonal or themed promotions that align with key holidays, special events, and peak business periods (e.g., school vacations, birthdays, summer break). Work with cross-functional teams to ensure promotions are aligned with the company's overall marketing strategy and goals. Coordinate with graphic designers, digital teams, and other departments to ensure the timely and consistent execution of campaigns across multiple channels.Digital Marketing & Social Media:
Manage digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, social media promotions, website content, and online advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads). Curate engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), and track performance metrics to adjust campaigns as needed. Use email marketing platforms to design, segment, and send promotional emails to target audiences, tracking open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.Partnerships & Sponsorships:
Identify and build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and media outlets for cross-promotional opportunities and sponsorships. Negotiate and manage promotional partnerships that align with the brand's objectives and customer demographics. Coordinate joint marketing efforts, ensuring proper promotion and visibility for all parties involved.Event Promotions & Special Offers:
Work with the Event Coordinator and Sales Team to promote special events, birthday parties, group bookings, and corporate outings. Develop special packages or offers (e.g., discounts, group rates, family deals) that encourage event bookings and increased foot traffic. Monitor and analyze the success of event-based promotions, making adjustments as needed to optimize future events.Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to understand customer trends, preferences, and behaviors, and apply insights to promotional strategies. Analyze the effectiveness of ongoing and past promotions through key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales data, website traffic, and customer feedback. Use data-driven insights to refine promotional strategies, adjusting messaging, targeting, and promotional channels for better engagement and ROI.Budget Management:
Manage the budget for promotional campaigns, ensuring that all campaigns are executed within allocated budgets. Monitor and track expenses for each campaign, optimizing spend to maximize return on investment. Work with management to forecast promotional budgets and evaluate financial performance.Creative Strategy Development:
Develop creative briefs and collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and other creative team members to produce high-quality promotional materials (digital, print, etc.). Ensure all marketing materials are on-brand, visually appealing, and compelling to the target audience. Ensure consistency in messaging and visual elements across all marketing channels, including social media, email, website, and in-store promotions.Customer Engagement & Retention:
Create loyalty programs, referral programs, and VIP offers that increase customer retention and lifetime value. Develop personalized offers based on customer data to encourage repeat visits and engagement. Track customer responses and feedback to ensure that promotions meet customer expectations and lead to long-term engagement.Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in marketing, promotions, or brand management, preferably in a family-oriented, entertainment, or hospitality setting. Proven track record of planning and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive sales and brand awareness. Experience managing digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.Skills:
Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including social media, email campaigns, SEO, and SEM. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for a variety of audiences. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines. Creative thinker with the ability to design engaging promotional strategies and materials. Ability to analyze data and derive insights to optimize promotional efforts and marketing campaigns. Proficiency in marketing software (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Canva, or other CRM and email platforms).Personal Attributes:
Energetic, positive, and collaborative attitude, with a passion for entertainment and family-oriented experiences. Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively. Self-motivated and proactive, with a drive to meet goals and continuously improve promotional campaigns.Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an office environment and attend on-site events as needed. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for event setup and promotional material distribution. Occasional travel to local businesses, events, or venues for promotional meetings and partnerships.Benefits:
