Smith Mountain Lake, VA area We are hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Contract Property Inspector to inspect short-term rental homes prior to guest arrival. This role ensures homes are clean, safe, functional, and fully guest-ready. Responsibilities Inspect vacation rental homes before guest check-in Ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation standards are met Verify appliances, TVs, Wi-Fi, HVAC, locks, and amenities are functioning properly Report maintenance, cleanliness, or safety concerns to management Take photos/document issues when needed Perform light touch-up cleaning or restocking if minor issues are found Requirements Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Smartphone with texting/photo capabilities Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently Weekend and holiday availability Hospitality, housekeeping, or property management experience is a plus Compensation Per-house pay structure Daily earnings typically range from $60-$150+ depending on number of inspections/check-ins Flexible scheduling Looking for someone reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
