Job Description

Overview Join our growing team as a Property Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining residential and commercial properties. This hands-on role includes a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks ranging from changing light bulbs and photocells to carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, and general property upkeep. We're looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and capable of solving problems independently while helping keep our properties safe, functional, and looking their best. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality work, and can handle a variety of day-to-day maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs at residential and commercial properties Change light bulbs, photocells, fixtures, outlets, switches, and other basic electrical components Complete minor carpentry repairs including doors, trim, drywall, locks, and hardware installation Perform basic plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing faucets, and toilet repairs Conduct painting, touch-ups, and general cosmetic improvements Assist with property cleanouts, inspections, and turnover preparation between tenants Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs Maintain exterior property appearance including minor landscaping and debris removal when needed Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Qualifications Previous experience in property maintenance, handyman work, construction, or related fields preferred Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude Preferred Skills Experience with rental property maintenance or property management Knowledge of basic HVAC troubleshooting Experience with painting, flooring, or tile work Ability to perform emergency or after-hours repairs when necessary
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
