Property Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee and manage a beautiful small portfolio in Mesquite, TX. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer relationship management skills, a solid understanding of apartment management and operations, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. This role involves ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, managing resident relationships, and maintaining high occupancy rates while optimizing property performance. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Foster positive relationships with residents and address any concerns or conflicts promptly and effectively. Oversee the leasing process, including marketing properties, conducting showings, and processing applications. Maintain accurate records through data entry and management system in RealPage Onsite. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of properties. Analyze market trends to develop strategies for maximizing property performance and occupancy rates. Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner. Prepare reports on property performance metrics for stakeholders. Qualifications Proven experience in property management of at least 5 years. Strong knowledge of customer relationship management principles and conflict management strategies. Proficient in data entry with experience using RealPage OneSite property management software. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with tenants and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple properties simultaneously. Sales experience is a plus, contributing to effective leasing strategies.
