Starting at $40,000 per year, depending on experience Job Description A well-established property management team is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a multifamily property in Kingsport, TN . This on-site position plays a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming living experience for residents, while also ensuring the property meets occupancy, financial, and operational goals. Key Responsibilities Leasing & Occupancy Conduct property tours, screen prospective residents, and process rental applications Coordinate lease signings, move-ins, and move-outs Achieve and maintain occupancy targets through effective leasing practices Marketing & Outreach Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain residents Conduct regular market and competitor surveys and make strategic recommendations Resident Relations Deliver outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents Address resident concerns promptly and build strong community relationships Maintenance Coordination Oversee property upkeep, repairs, and renovations Collaborate with on-site maintenance staff and third-party vendors to ensure timely service Financial Oversight Collect rent and enforce payment policies Approve invoices and manage expenses to align with budgetary goals Compliance & Administration Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including Fair Housing and HUD guidelines Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, record keeping, and reporting Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in property management and leasing (multifamily preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software (ResMan preferred) High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred CAM Certification preferred Valid U.S. driver's license Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Fluent in written and spoken English Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Some evening hours, weekend coverage, or rotating "on-call" duties may be required Benefits Paid Time Off Health Insurance Optional Dental and Vision 401(k) with company match Bonus and commission opportunities
